What is a Shiatsu massage?
Shiatsu is a massage therapy which uses palpation and other techniques including massages with fingers, thumbs, feet and palms.
What is Shiatsu good for?
Shiatsu is good for a number of number of reasons including muscular aches, stress relieve, relaxation, energy flow restoration and many more.
Can Shiatsu cause side effects?
Shiatsu doesn’t have documented side effects. However we recommend talking to your therapist about your medical history.
How does it work?
📅 Our therapist will come to yours at the agreed time and date. Make sure you get in touch with your therapist as soon as possible should your availability change.
💬 The session will start with a brief conversation about your current state, medical history or any questions you might have about Shiatsu or the coming session.
💆 In the core part of the session the therapist will apply their techniques on you. Remember you’ll always have your clothes on throughout the session.
🙏 At the end of the session, the therapist will debrief with you and provide you with immediate feedback about your current state. It’s completely up to you if you want to open up with them or keep your thoughts to yourself.
